The American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) is pleased announce that we will be returning to VietnamWood, one of Southeast Asia’s leading trade fairs for the woodworking and wood processing industries. It will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from 19 to 22 November 2025.
AHEC will be hosting a pavilion at A109-1 for participating members. Response among American exporters was so overwhelming that the pavilion was unable to house all who expressed interest. Around 40 American hardwood exporters, both within and outside the AHEC pavilion, will be present to meet with contacts old and new at this year’s event.
Mr. John Chan, AHEC Regional Director for Greater China and Southeast Asia said, “Vietnam is a key market for American hardwood, so VietnamWood is always a highlight of the year for AHEC and our members. We are happy with the growing use of American hardwood in the Vietnamese market, and will continue working with our partners to promote its use in furniture, interior design and mass timber.”
As part of this effort to promote the use of American hardwood, AHEC is presenting a seminar organised by Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA) on 20 November 2025. The seminar is entitled “Compliance Meets Creativity: American Hardwoods in Global Design”, with key topics:
o American hardwoods in international design
o An update on EUDR regulations with opportunities for designers and manufacturers
o Introduction to American Hardwood Assured (AHA), a platform initiated by AHEC to provide robust assurance of the legal and deforestation-free status of American hardwoods

The VietnamWood AHEC pavilion will be at A109-1 from 19 to 22 November 2025. The seminar will be held on 20 November 2025 from 13:30-15:00 at the event area in Hall B1. Spaces are expected to be in high demand so plan now to join AHEC’s exclusive event.
