At this time of the Covid-19 Pandemic, my AHEC team and I would like to work and cooperate with you and your industry to navigate the challenges and improve our competitiveness together.
Southeast Asian economies are feeling the impact of the pandemic that is still raging worldwide, with only Vietnam expected to post GDP positive growth in 2020. As we say goodbye to 2020 and look forward to the Lunar New Year in 2021, economies in the region are also expected to pick up in the coming year.
AHEC continues to be committed to conducting comprehensive programs to promote the applications of US hardwood in manufacturing, architectural and interior design through physical seminars and webinars, PR events, conventions and exhibitions. We will continue working with media, trade, design and architectural associations. Together we share a common goal – to ensure partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Your success is our success!
Furthermore, I look forward to strengthening our cooperation in dealing with developing the domestic market and creating more awareness of US hardwood, which is legally and sustainably sourced, with a wide variety of species for a plethora of applications.
