It has an electric brake and a linear ball bearing system. The dual rear-handle bevel lock is easily accessible with adjustments 0 to 48 degree (left) and 0 to 5 degree (right) with positive stops at 0 and 45 degree (left). An LED light illuminates the line-of-cut.
