MIFF FURNIVERSE Returns In October 2021 For An Autumn Sourcing Experience

The Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) hosts the third edition of the MIFF FURNIVERSE online exhibition from 25-29 October 2021, in the absence of the physical show this year. The organiser, Informa Markets, has decided to gather MIFF exhibitors once again to return for an autumn sourcing experience in MIFF Furniverse October 2021 Edition to fulfill the furniture sourcing needs of global buyers.

In March 2021, the second edition of MIFF Furniverse generated USD4.55 million in sales over the five-days live event and attracted more than 1,700 trade buyers' visits from 103 countries and regions looking to source new products and place orders. Majority of the buyers are Importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, online shops, buying agents and interior designers.

MIFF Furniverse October 2021 will feature new suppliers, new designs and new products to further entice global buyers to participate and be part of this amazing online sourcing journey, with an enhanced exhibition platform, of course. The coming edition will gather 50 furniture suppliers from Malaysia, Japan, Poland and USA onboard as exhibitors. It will no doubt be a great touchpoint for extensive networking opportunities globally.

Singapore based exhibitor Sourcebynet who designs, sources and delivers an extensive range of furniture and flooring products from around the world, Japan based bedroom furniture specialist France Bed and the US based world's largest furniture manufacturer Ashley are on board as the Gold Sponsors.

Apart from the exhibitors' showcase on the platform, MIFF Furniverse continue to present the exquisite MIFF Creative Business Webinar Series as one of the highlights of the platform. On the first day of MIFF Furniverse, at 3pm (UTC+8), the online event welcomes industry professionals from Poland to discuss on the Polish Wood & Furniture. On the 26th October, 3pm (UTC+8), participants could join the speakers Peter Pederson from Sourcebynet, Walter Tan from Elemental Republic and Lim Bo Qiang from Paperworks Studio & Basicology to discuss on the interesting topic of The Design Trend 2022. Bringing only fresh idea to the table, the key industry players from the furniture industry will combine force with the well-known Dr. Eric Leong, the MIFF FDC Chief judge from Malaysia to host the webinar / sharing session.

“It was a very good initiative during this COVID time, and such an interactive platform makes it very useful and exciting'”, said Rahul Gupta from India. “A great way to source products while being unable to travel due to government regulations'”, said Peter Shepherd from Australia. International buyers are looking forward to meeting with the exhibitors virtually.
